FAQ

How Much Should I Donate?
There is a suggested donation of $10 per class. Most other studios charge a flat rate of $15-$20 for a drop-in. Our teachers pay rent to teach each class just as you pay the teacher to take class. Without your donations, it is unsustainable for the teachers or the Co-Op to continue offering classes.

New to the North Shore Yoga Co-op?
Give yourself some extra driving time if you have never been to the co-op as we are a bit off the beaten path.  Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign a waiver and talk to the teacher. Please tell the instructor that this is your first time at the Co-op,  if you have any limitations, injuries, or are pregnant.

New to Yoga?
For your first few classes, we recommend attending the any of the following: Yoga Basics, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa 1, or Yin Iyengar & Restorative. You will receive better introduction, attention, and instruction that are needed to safely enter the other classes as well as the advanced classes. Let the teacher know that you are new to yoga; he/she will help you set-up and will let you know what props are needed for the class (props are provided). Always tell your teacher if you have any limitations, injuries, or are pregnant.  Reach out to us if you have any questions.

Do I Need to Bring Anything?
Please bring a yoga mat, towel, and bottle of water to class.  We do have a limited number of mats to loan if needed.  If you do borrow a mat, please come with clean feet and clean the mat after you use it. Mat cleaner is provided.
