| Jennie Lee first experienced hatha Yoga through the Ashtanga practice with Bryan Kest in Los Angeles. With over 6,000 teaching hours on the mat, her practice has grown from exploring many traditions including Kundalini, Kripalu, and Viniyoga. She recently moved to O'ahu from the Boston area, where she owned Stillness in Motion Yoga & Wellness Studio for the past eight years. Jennie specializes in Transformative Yoga Therapy, a process she developed based on 21 years of study in Yoga philosophy, spiritual psychology, body centered process therapy, as well as Yoga practice and meditation. In Transformative Yoga Therapy, Jennie combines the body opening of hatha Yoga with intuitive touch, spontaneous dialogue, intentional breathwork and mindfulness training. She experiences great joy helping students understand and employ all the tools Yoga offers to move into peace and awareness of their Divine essence. Guided internally by the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, Jennie also enjoys sharing the journey of Yoga and life through her writing for Yoga Therapy Today magazine, YogaFinder website and the Living the Truth website. She is incredibly grateful to call the island home and to be a new part of the North Shore Yoga Coop.
