After a lifetime of competitive gymnastics and dance training, a spot on the US Jr. Olympic Rhythmic gymnastics team and studying at the London Contemporary Dance School, I completed my BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from University of Hawaii. During and after college, I practiced yoga with Lu and Tom DiGrazia of Yoga School of Kailua and assisted in their Hawaii Yoga Prison Project. I then became an academic teacher for public and private schools, preK-12, including mentoring at risk youth and young adults. Marriage and motherhood came after with a big life change that took our family off island and all the way to Northern Virginia.  While there, I studied Pilates and Core Barre training with Alyssa Harakal and taught creative movement and dance for my children’s preschools. In 2016, we were finally able to move back to O’ahu and have made Haleiwa our home.

Along my journey, I’ve had 3 major back injuries and two children, which unearthed every ache and pain in my body. On our last move, I developed chronic sciatica which brought everyday life to a screeching halt. A year with weekly trips to the chiropractor maintained but couldn’t alleviate my pain.  Through a friend, I discovered self-myofascial release rolling and 3 weeks later I was back on my feet and able to move, pain free! With such a dramatic and quick recovery, I immediately certified as a Fascination Method, Self-Myofascial Release Practitioner under founder and my teacher, Anthony Chrisco of Mililani. Currently, I am the only practitioner offering Fascianation Method Release Rolling classes on the North Shore.
