Alana draws great joy from her own Yoga practice and hopes to share that joy with her students. She is a compassionate and lighthearted teacher, whose classes are fun, dynamic, and heartfelt. She focuses on breath and choice-making in her classes, where she and her students can practice in their own heart-centered space. Alana has been practicing Yoga for over 10 years and received her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training in various styles from the Hawaii Yoga Institute. Alana is currently pursuing 300 more Teacher Training Hours in Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), which is a clinical intervention for those who have experienced complex trauma. Alana incorporates this methodology into all of her classes and therefore heavily emphasizes the power of each individual’s agency to choose what feels most right for them in each moment. Alana feels truly “at home” while on her mat, and she hopes that you will too!
